March 12th:


Back to La Toza we went for our final clinical day! This was such an impactful and genuine unforgetable experience! 

Here, I had to opportunity to experience working with the doctor. She did consultations on all her patients, while I was able to re-check blood pressures, give and instruct how to take de-wormers and just assisted with anything needed from the provider or patient. I made wonderful connections with the community members and made many memories that will not be forgotten! Today, was another extremely busy day, but I would not have changed it for anything!

Although, it was a busy day we had an early day. Due to this we had the opportunity to go explore Panama on our way back to our campground. Of course, we went to eat then shopping! I also, had a great experience and was able to experience a special connection with a Panama native. This experience will forever stay in my heart!

  Final Day:            Today, was our final day in Panama. We started with breakfast then headed to Panama City, prior to being dropped off at the airport. While Exploring Panama City we had a great adventure!       We had the opportunity to experience Panama Culture! Although, it was a minimal experience we had an amazing time and of course took tooo many pictures! LOL!!!   March 9th:        Our First day out in the community. Today was Survey Day! This was a long and eventful day! We started off with eating our first Panamanian Breakfast, traveled to our first community, returned to our resort and started on making "baggies" for the community people for our clinical days!      After a goods nights rest, my cabin and I are super excited to get the day started and see what the day will bring!
