Culture Day!:


Culture Day was exciting and sure did make me use my detailed skills with our activity! Today, was an emotional and special day. For me I was able to let sink in all the emotional experiences, connections, opportunities and new friendships built. Most importantly I also valued the opportunity to gain a new experience, improve my nursing and leadership skills and I will keep close everything I learned and was able to take in from the community people! 

 




 

                
                

This day was also special because we had the opportunity to celebrate a very special persons birthday. If it was for Francisco, this trip would have been totally different and much more difficult!! He did am amazing job and definitely went above and beyond in his Student Leader Role! I sincerely hope that you enjoyed your specail day. I greatly appreciate all you did! You made this all happen and you had un enorme impact asia mi!

  March 12th: Back to La Toza we went for our final clinical day! This was such an impactful and genuine unforgetable experience!  Here, I had to opportunity to experience working with the doctor. She did consultations on all her patients, while I was able to re-check blood pressures, give and instruct how to take de-wormers and just assisted with anything needed from the provider or patient.   Final Day:            Today, was our final day in Panama. We started with breakfast then headed to Panama City, prior to being dropped off at the airport. While Exploring Panama City we had a great adventure!       We had the opportunity to experience Panama Culture! Although, it was a minimal experience we had an amazing time and of course took tooo many pictures! LOL!!! I will never forget this grand experience and will value all the people and educational tools I experienced!         This experience was emotional, adventurous, eye opening, and allowed for great connections with new people from the school and of course the Panamanian community members!!!       I will forever value and keep close to my heart the genuine connections I made with the community people.   March 9th:        Our First day out in the community. Today was Survey Day! This was a long and eventful day! We started off with eating our first Panamanian Breakfast, traveled to our first community, returned to our resort and started on making "baggies" for the community people for our clinical days!      After a goods nights rest, my cabin and I are super excited to get the day started and see what the day will bring!
